It’s not just nuclear weapons either. He’s been building chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction, and their delivery systems as well.

Though I hate to quote Aljazeera,

“Experts in the South said on Friday that North Korea had up to 5,000 tonnes of chemical weapons stockpiled, including a supply of VX.”

We certainly won’t stop them. We can’t seem to stop hundreds of thousands of illegals walking in so what’s a couple nukes?

A very good observation. It would be a threat to all ports.

If you want to scare the bejeebers out of yourself read One Seacond After by William Forstchen. The premise is two nukes launched in the Gulf of Mexico from container ships for an EMP strike. I’ve yet to find anyone who can calm my fears about this scenario.

Such a delivery method might — might — suffice for one terrorist type attack, but it would not provide the wave of nuclear bombs delivered all at once necessary to inflict major, disabling damage on one or more of North Korea’s enemies. In any event, it seems likely that North Korea’s offensive nuclear war plan assumes coordination with China, and that China would not want to risk general nuclear war just for Fatty Kim to get a single nuclear hit in on a North Korean adversary.

“A possible horror story would be to place a nuke in the center of a cement mixer tank and fill it with water...then just drive to the target :-(”

Probably wouldn’t be too difficult for them to sneak small nukes in from Mexico or Canada, or even on a small boat. Once they get them near the intended targets the shielding can come off. The possibilities grow from there. Bring one up a tall sky rise, or load them onto private planes, or go real low tech and use hot air ballons.

Put them on a 35’ yacht and cruise into the center of all our Coastal, Great Lakes and other cities situated on major rivers.

No port scanning of containers to worry about.

You are correct. This is why the liberals should be skeeered sheeetless. One mini nuke on a boat or a truck would take out a massive number of democrat voters in the city they would surely target.

I read that General Kelly is worried about a dirty bomb coming across the Mexican border—cartel help, doing a job Americans don’t want to do.

Interesting! I was not aware of that scanning ability.

Any links?

Yes, half a dozen delivered by arab proxies who are unaware of who pulls their strings. So our vengeance is directed at the puppets and not the puppet-master (who offers their condolences and help in wiping out the proxies)...

Also, who says they need to survive re-entry. 2-300 mile altitude is where to pop one for maximum EMP effect. That’s the threat that worries me.

"Can't" and "Won't" are two different things. One concerns ability and the other will.

"Interesting! I was not aware of that scanning ability."

One of my closest friends is an over the road truck driver for a commercial carrier. He had a new driving partner that was in the sleeper when he went through a weigh station. He was signaled to stop and a swat team surrounded his vehicle. His partner produced a medical card where he had radioactive isotope tracers in recent scan. So more than just ports have very sensitive radiation scanners.

If we have to go to war I hope we fight it like Dresden and not like we fought in Nam.

Be an ironic thing to send all the, err "diversity" forces to go fight in Iran, eh?
