Were you sober when you got yours? Lots of vets say they were bombed when they got them. A serious question not trying to be rude to you - thank you for your service.
My 1st thought when I started reading the article was why is the author hyperventilating over what someone has inked on their skin? Do fat broads wearing daisy maes in public give him the vapors, too? Is he being personally damaged by what other people look like?
I love this trashy hippie/redneck/biker rural area where I live-mostly people over 60, preppers, off griders, etc-and plenty of tats on both men and women. I don’t have any myself-T5’sguy likes his bitches without ink, as did both of my husbands-but a lot of my neighbors and most of the guys I work with do have tats-it is a personal choice. One thing you don’t see out here are overweight people-we mostly work hard, eat organic food and stay fit-if you see a white guy with dreadlocks or a fat broad in yoga pants at the nearest grocery store (18 miles), that is definitely a tourist-not a local...
T5’sguy lives/works in the city-he is really into the two of us shopping for food and stuff for our respective homes together-when it is my turn to stay at his place, instead of him at mine I’m practically dragged by him to the damn supermarket near his house-it makes me almost ill-fat women in yoga pants, shorts and crop tops lumbering through the aisles like a herd of hippos offends me-tats do not-but if they want to look ridiculous, that is their choice-not my f’ing business...
I have a tatoo problem. They are damn ugly. Whenever I see someone with one, I wonder “what were they thinking”.
Apologies in advance if I offended anyone.
Truth in labeling. He comes with a warning.
Skin graffiti.
You ain’t seen nothing yet and then what is to come.
This woman sitting next to me in a pedicure saloon had one.
First there were smart tattoos, and now theres audio inkthe world is just moving too fast for me. If you have no clue what Im talking about, dont worry, because its almost too crazy to believe. But apparently now you can get a tattoo that actually plays sound.

America’s greatness, its wealth, its stability, its peace and its freedom, have slowly morphed into an extreme cult of the individual, self-actualization, narcissism and materialism.
All talk and focus today is on absolute freedom and individual rights - the other half of the equation, responsibility and self-restraint, has been completely forgotten.
Dr Tatoff (ha) is doing amazing business.

No empirical evidence has been presented, just personal speculation. My experience has been the opposite. It is personal opinion.
I will make an exception with Navy Anchor tattoos, and other military-related tattoos. I think those are somewhat acceptable.
Here’s my take: It’s not about the tattoo. It’s about proving your bonafides; showing everyone that you can withstand the pain. Notice how almost no one ever stops at just one? They need to re-experience that right of passage, to prove they can take the pain, over and over ... and ...
You want a tat, get a tat. If you don’t like the tat I have of Jennifer Lopez, then don’t look at it.

I recently (2 years ago) made the acquaintance of an older Romanian gentleman who had been tatooed between his thumb and index finger - - sign of a criminal under the old state. He makes the best garlic sausages. And his daughter is a knockout. She has no tatoos.
In the old days, people got tattoos to stand out.
Now they get them to fit in.
Actually, I know a woman whose appearance was enhanced by tattoo work.
She had suffered severe burns and although her tattoo work couldn’t hide it, it made the transition from the part of her arm where she had lost her pigment to the part that had been protected be not as stark.
I do think in some cases it does become an addiction.
people need to relax in general when they are on FR.
There are a kazillion people on this forum, some of which have different opinions than others.
Even if someone says something you could take as an insult, they don’t know you, and don’t mean you. so just let it slide. folks get so angry with other people for all kinds of comments
Unless they are specific to you, like when i was called a “self satisfied prick” by another FR because i agreed with a post he did not agree with.
