22 years in uniform but I don’t have any tattoos. I’ve been drunk enough, even to the point of not remembering the night before (I am ashamed of that but grateful I survived), but never drunk enough to get a tattoo.
Why?
I was afraid of needles and the pain. No kidding.

No. I admit to being stupid but I was not drunk and stupid. Knowing what I know now I would never have gone into the “Tattoo Parlor” lucky I didn't come down with hepatitis now that I think about it.
