She gets to exonerate an innocent man and woman (Tyrion and Sansa) before dying while putting another wedge between Cersei and Jamie, since it isn’t the brother they both hate right now, so Jamie can now choose Tyrion over Cersei again unless the death of their father is too great to overcome.
Agreed. Littlefinger sucks.

It is not unreasonable in the GOT hierarchy. Westeros is supposed to have a ruler, with vassal kings who are below the ruler. The Starks were the Wardens of the North, and masters of Winterfell, but were below the king. A Duke would never expect to be treated as an equal by a sovereign.
Really??? She blew up a holy place (the Sept of Baelor), while it was filled with people, just to kill one Priest and her daughter-in-law. And she used the most destructive weapon she could, so a lot of other innocent people died along with her targets. She had Jamie push a small child out a window because he saw them doin' the nasty. She pushed the accusations that Ned Stark was a traitor, and sat on stage as he (an innocent man, who she knew was innocent) was beheaded. She just had her brother poison an old lady because she had called her (in the previous season) "the worst person I know". Also, all of her staff and servants. She has completely eliminated 2 houses. The Baratheons (I know, I know, not personally; but, her toadies, the Boltons were her assasins (remember the Red Wedding); now The Tyrells of Highgarden. And, she has been going after Starks for years. So, Hillary level evil, I think.
In fact, in a prior thread on GOTs, I did call Cersei the "Hillary Clinton of Westeros".
I loved the exchange between him and the Red Priest with Beric Dondarian.
"Why are you always in such a bad mood?"
The Hound: Experience
Have you been watching the same Cersei I have been watching. She relishes revenge, she loves it --- and, she has such a long list of people who have done her wrong; or, who she perceives have done her wrong. Sansa is on that list. Tyrion is on that list. And, no, finding out that Olena was the one to poison Joffrey, is not going to get her to give up on her revenge. She is still going to go after Sansa snd Tyrion --- and, anyone else she wants. She is all powerful, and she has no boundries.
I thought it was interesting that LittleFinger lectured Cersei about seeing all possibilities, and then Bran (who actually does) shows up.
The scene ends with Jaime leaving after Olenna drank the poison. Now if it were me writing the script, moments after Jaime left the room, he would return with guards to arrest Olenna. Because - he gave her a harmless substance knowing she would confess. And now, she is going to be carted off to face the wrath of Cersei. But that’s just me.
I’m still grinning about that scene between Euron and Jaime. Euron is such a total jackass, I’m really starting to like him. In Euron’s mind, he’s going to marry Cersei. In Cersei’s mind and Jaime’s mind, he’s a dead man walking.
Agreed! And Arya talking to the guy who killed her friend before she dispatches him. Very well done! But someone died for chickens! So enjoyable.
Littlefinger was lecturing Sansa Stark.
Also, how about a man who's in the right place at the right time? Sam Tarly lets Snow know about the mountain of dragon glass, and Sam heals Jorah. I see a great future for Sam.
Nice doggie, nice doggie.
Maybe. But she was going to go North after she found out that Jon was alive. It will take another episode to confirm that. It would not have surprised me in the least if Arya were the girl at the door, but I kind of doubt it for now.
That scene where Cersei poisoned the girl with Ellaria watching was a very strong scene. Then she drank the antidote. And THEN she told Ellaria that not only is she going to watch her daughter die, she is going to be there until all the flesh rots away and the bones bleach. And if she refuses to eat, they will force food down her throat.
Bran certainly showed up at the right time didn’t he? Littlefinger is an elementary schooler compared to what Bran can advise now.
Arya was planning to go to Kings Landing to kill Queen Cersei.
However, in the scene in the tavern in episode 2, she catches up with Hot Pie and learns that the Boltons are all dead, and Jon Snow is King of the North. So she’s now planning to go to Winterfell to get back together with Jon and Sansa (and Bran).
