How would a senator have any access to the president's phone calls? Sounds like nonsense to me. Had to be some staffer in the White House - some holdover from the Obama administration - or someone from the intelligence community.

Article 1 Section 3, no person who has aided an enemy of the United States is eligible to serve in the Senate. As McCain was involved in funding the radical Muslims in Syria he shouldn’t be eligible to serve.
