FR has been completely down for a few minutes. I checked it with a "Is It Down?" website or two. Now supposedly it's up, but you can't move from one link to another. Or if it manages to get to that other link, it's after you've knit a sweater starting with a ball of yarn. What's up with FR today?

Yep; crazy slow to the point of being unusable. Seems to be working better at the moment but I’m not counting on it to stay good. I wish the source of this issue could be found. It’s so frustrating at times and this is only forum that does this on the Internet that I ever visit. We need FR to be reliable and solid.
The Internet formats are changing. I have a feeling it’s time to completely re-write the code for this forum. What worked 20 years ago doesn’t seem to be working consistently any longer.
Things like HTML5 taking over Adobe Flash and other things like that. Not all of it affects FR but apparently some of it is.
Your sarcasm is wasted here. It DOES do good to point these issues out as they happen so the people trying to fix the problem have a reference point and time in the logs to look at to troubleshoot the issue.
