Best video trailer I have ever seen.
And, yes, this might be a repeat post.
That said, if a movie trailer ever deserved a second post...this is it.
Churchill awakened a nation to an existential threat once over 75 years ago.
He just might do it again.

Thanks for posting. I like Gary Oldman, and was surprised to see him in the title role. It's not a character you would expect him to play. The make-up job is awesome. I had to keep trying to find Gary Oldman in Churchill's face. The movie is now in my "saved" DVD Netflix queue.
I noticed there's another movie that hasn't been released yet titled "Churchill". This one stars Brian Cox as Churchill. Last year the movie "Churchill's Secret" was shown on British TV, and on PBS here. Michael Gambon played Churchill. It takes place in 1950's, and tells the story of Churchill's stroke.

I went to the War Rooms when I was in London in 2006. Started chatting with a husband and wife, and discovered that the husband had been one of the children shipped off to the country during the war.

Certainly looks like a good film. My wife and I are big fans of BBC murder mysteries and comedies. Cracking good stuff. A lot of these films and tv series seem to deal though with a different Britain. Primarily one before WW2, during it or shortly after. In it I see a kind of .... longing in British film makers and tv producers and writers to hark back to a different time in England when it WAS England as it once was. A strong, united kingdom governed by a people that valued liberty, despite it's class system, a people who gave so much to the world in art, literature, science , good old common sense and a stiff upper lip! Not the rapidly descending Islamist, politically correct madhouse it's becoming.

Looks like part of this movie was actually filmed on location in the Cabinet War Rooms, an armored bunker complex in central London. Fascinating place to visit. One of the best preserved attractions in London. It is very well done and the adjoining Churchill Museum is a Must See. I could spend an entire day in there.
