I was on a carrier in the Med for much of that year...
You know, I had a great time in the Seventies. Cars were rusting, people were out of jobs, gas was short, the Soviets were trying to ram our ships, haircuts were stupid, and clothes were even stupider, but...I was living life pretty fully then!
Not always appreciating it being away from family and friends, but...THE MUSIC OF THE SEVENTIES WAS GREAT!
