Just returned from Circo Hermano Vasquez. Ringling Brothers was run out of business for using animals in its circus. But Circo Vazquez lives because it handles animals in a 3rd world cultural tradition that the animals understand ... until PETA hears this.
In the middle of the show the midget (little people play a special role in Mexican humor) came out with a Donald Trump wig and was a live Meme (just a couple blocks up the street from meme guru Laz). The audience roared with laughter. The clowns and MC did their typical humor.
Immediately after Trump left the spotlight two musicians came out and did an absolutely perfect rendition on Trumpet and Sax of Sinatra's I DID IT MY WAY. To me the connection was obvious. During the entire 2 hour show, those two musicians were absolutely perfect with both Mexican and American music.
The acrobats/gymnasts were also very interesting and skilled.
But they must have mistreated those dogs forcing them to play soccer with balloons. And might have been racist to make the biggest darkest dog the mean bully who wouldn't let the little dogs score.
It was also unfair that the 250 lb pony was forced to pose for photos with heavy 2 and 3 year old Mexican kids on him. And can you imagine how terrified the horses were when the trainer cracked his whip? The whip didn't hurt any of them. But how would you like it if your trainer cracked a whip near you? Oh the mental torture to those poor horses. /;)
If you have $30 to spend, and you are near Plaza Fiesta, Buford Hwy north of Claremont, NE Atlanta you could find worse places to spend that $30.
Is it too much to ask, where did this happen?

Very much a pro-family, pro-children atmosphere. IMO the male performers were far superior to the female performers. I speculate that is because the females are married to the males and are in the act to keep the family together and not because they are the most skilled.
It was all families in the tent. Probably not an unattached female over 18 in the tent.
