I do not understand why Trump lets Scarborough and Brzezinski upset him so much.
The president and us by extension are getting clubbed in the head every single day and some of you Freepers want to act like the squish Republicans we’re always criticizing here. No more white gloves against these people. Why do we always have to feel defensive? They’re the ones who throw every piece of sleaze at us and we’ve been taking it for too long. It’s like when someone is tailgating you and won’t let up. They have no connection to your life but eventually you get fed up and respond in kind.
Obviously what he is doing is public, and intentionally so. And I understand the hind-wringers, regardless of whether the public remark is "official record" or not.
You remind me of Chris Cuomo, and others on CNN, who can;t get their head around the difference between a tweet and somehting that really is "official." Sometimes the offhand remark alingns perfectly with the details, more often it is hyperbolic, technically incorrect, and sometimes technically even a lie. Sarcasm can have that quality.
The boys on Morning Joe have been petty and mean to President Trump. He's being petty and mean back. They deserve it.
It will play in public just like it does here. Some people will disparage the move, others will applaud it.

Twitter is exactly the place for these sorts of comments. A president doesn't insert this sort of retort into a State of the Union speech, or prime-time TV address... but he is perfectly welcome to use silly things like Twitter as far as I'm concerned.
Twitter isn't exactly a serious, noble record of anything... it's just a bunch of very short chatter... much of which is vile, ugly comments directed at him and his family.
If "celebrities" want to use public airwaves and all their other public forums to launch attacks against our president, then I don't mind one bit if he uses the most trivial forum of them all, Twitter, to lob a few barbs back at them once in a while.
Twitter was designed exactly for this sort of no-holds-barred activity.
