Six members of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) resigned in protest of the Trump administration, which they allege "has no strategy to address the on-going HIV/AIDS epidemic."
Scott Schoettes, Counsel and HIV Project Director at Lambda Legal, explained in a Newsweek op-ed Friday that he and five colleagues decided to leave their posts on the council for a number of reasons.
But their largest expressed gripe was that the Trump administration has not sought input from the council when formulating HIV policy.

Any HIV/AID organization is just a homosexual activism chapter.
Another snaky answer would be to give them sugar pills instead of their AIDS meds. Our problems would be solved in short order.
There's no other kind.
Tragic. Sorry to hear that.
As for SF women, they are not, as a group, very interested in men. There was a saying: “San Francisco is the city where the women are strong and the men are pretty.” Which has probably morphed into “Men are rotten” in the Feminazi culture.
Funny that we haven’t been subjected to news stories in the past few years about any HIV/AIDS epidemic... Thought it had all gone away. Guess not or probably just doesn’t exist during administrations that coddle the ones responsible for it...kind of like homeless just appear during Republican administrations.
I remember watching some show (60 minutes??) , maybe 20 some years ago, where they were discussing AIDS. Some U.K. sailor from from I think the 40’s or the 50s developed a strange diseases and died. The company he worked for shipped cargo regularly to a Africa. This guy was known for visiting prostitutes when he was there. After AIDs start making the news they re-tested this guy’s specimens they stored since it was such an odd disease. The guy died of HIV.
It’s been estimated that HIV has been around for maybe 90 years. (Africans eating SIV infected chimps and it mutated??) It was until gay promiscuity it became an “epidemic”.
Behavior brought it front and center.
Came across this years ago. Found this interesting.
LIVERPOOL, UK - 9 March 2005: Biologists at the University of Liverpool have discovered how the plagues of the Middle Ages have made around 10% of Europeans resistant to HIV.
Scientists have known for some time that these individuals carry a genetic mutation (known as CCR5-Ä32) that prevents the virus from entering the cells of the immune system but have been unable to account for the high levels of the gene in Scandinavia and relatively low levels in areas bordering the Mediterranean.
