Meaningless discussion. Both teams were created to reflect the rules as they were/are at the time. personally, I enjoyed the rough play of 20-30 years ago to what we have now.

Saw those Bulls in person in Indy vs. the Pacers. What impressed me in person was their defense. Smothering even for that time and those rules.

He forgot the main reason. The refs would simply fix the games for Chicago again.

Bob Swerski: Okay, some predictions from the sports fans on today's game. Pat?
Pat Arnold: Bulls, one forty-nine to twenty-tree.
Bob Swerski: Carl?
Carl Wollarski: Bulls, one forty-nine to fifty-two.
Bob Swerski: Okay, some difference in opinion there between you guys. Todd?
Todd O'Conner: Bulls, four hundred and two to zip!
Bob Swerski: Okay! Real good!
Todd O'Conner: But, Michael Jordan will be held to under two-hundred points.
Bob Swerski: Todd, one-hundred points is the record.
Todd O'Conner: "Was".
Superfans: Da Bulls!

Why they wouldn’t:
Each generation of athlete is bigger, stronger, and faster than the one before. Jordan was listed at 6’6” 215lbs which made him a big man in his era. Curry is “undersized” by current standards at 6’3” 190lbs, Durant is “average” at 6’9” 240lbs. The Jordan Bulls would get pushed around the court like high school kids by the current Warrior.

Invalid comparison. The banning of hand-checking starting the 2004-2005 season changed the game from a Center-dominated league to a perimeter-play dominated league, and the Bulls don’t have enough three-point shooters playing by 2017 rules to beat the Warriors.

Great analysis. Bulls in six. Rodman would still win the Battle of da Tats!
