Given the day’s events, I could go for a bourbon. Been debating on buying a bottle of Booker Noe.

Favorite movie line: “Avez vous Bourbon?” From Charade with Cary Grant & Grace Kelly.

I live on the “Bourbon Trail” in Kentucky. Some mornings you can smell the mash. Nice smell, sort of like way way off in the distance someone is frying bacon. Best I can describe it.
Anyone who pours Coke over good bourbon is a Philistine.

I keep looking at bourbon cocktail recipes, and keep thinking how wrong that is.

Looks like there are a few liquor experts posting here. I’ve never tasted alcohol in 56 years myself. I don’t need to drink something to act a fool; it comes quite naturally.
So what is the whole James Bond Shaken Stirred martini line? Why do they say that, like insiders who know better?

I want the do a tour on the “Bourbon Trail” someday.
Anything but water or ice in bourbon is a travesty.

Yes, but pouring Coke over bourbon is one of the only ways to properly improve the Coke (rum also comes to mind)...

Have a good day, FReepers.

Keep your powder dry.
