Finally, the disappearing shoreline the libs have been praying to Mother Earth for.

A long hose to Lake Mead would work.

If the water level was even higher in 1986, why in the world did they later build stairways and patios below that level ?

Except this time, the army corp of engineers scre*** the pooch with their 2014 plan. So there’s something new in play and it ain’t climate change.

The authors didn’t complete their research or purposely deceived their readers. There is no mention of the US-Canadian commission on water levels and their “2014 Plan” that changed things and has been upsetting residents around the lakes.

It was only a few years back that Great Lakes water levels were near record lows that were blamed on global warming.

Is that not the polluted sewer that caught fire sometime in the not so distant past?

Anyone say “global warming” yet?

Send some down the Colorado. Lake Mead is getting pretty shallow.

Has there been more than the usual ice cover in the winter? I remember the winter of 2013 being especially cold, and Lake Superior almost froze over completely. That raised the water level as more water was prevented from evaporating for a few months.

I was living in Erie during 1986. Tom Ridge was our congressman. He was petitioning the fed for money to dredge the Niagara River so the water would drain into Lake Ontario. Didn’t happen and in 1988 we had a drought. Lake levels receded to 100 year lows. When I left Erie in 1993 lake levels were at 100 year average.

When I was about 12, (1975) I lived near Lake St. Clair in Michigan. (Just north of Detroit River)
Water levels got so high that the Army Corps of Engineers built wooded Dykes along the shoreline for miles. Must have been some pre-global warming.

Proof of Global Warming- all the glaciers melting, all the dead polar bear bodies piling up in the lakes from the glaciers melting water flow. /s

Fluctuating water levels in Lake Erie are routine. A few years ago they were near a low, and alarmists were yammering about climate change. No doubt we will hear some of this now as well.
To: repentant_pundit
You mean the Great Erie Glacier is melting? Oh! Those poor Eskimos and polar bears!
