President Donald Trump has failed at getting the proper message out during his time as a politician and is "sabotaging his own agenda," political analyst Karl Rove wrote in an opinion piece.

Rove, who worked in the White House under former President George W. Bush, argued in The Wall Street Journal that Trump's Twitter habit is causing a lot of problems for him.

"Mr. Trump has figured out how to tweet his way around the mainstream media," Rove wrote. "Yet by disregarding basic fact checking, he is deepening the already considerable doubts Americans have about his competence and trustworthiness."

Rove is the most boring contributor on Fox.

I'm just tired of looking at him. He is well-past his "use-by" date.

I wish both he and McCain would just retire and get out of my life.

When almost all Republican officeholders and personalities fit the term RINO that is an indication that the term has no meaning. Those republicans who hold to conservative principles are the RINOs because they are a foreign body in the Republican Party. Real Republicans, Mainstream Republicans are indistinguishable from Democrats except that they don’t make so much noise. They just follow along loyally.

If Rove wanted to help, he would tell Trump his observations and recommendations privately. Criticizing him in public shows that Rove is just being egotistical, trying to be famous at Trump’s expense or is he being paid for this by Hillary?

Excellent comments. I am so tired of him!!!

No, the man was important, had his success, now he is trying to regain his forever lost status. Get lost Karl and stay there. Be content and happy, just go away clown.

The Pig/Human inbreeding experiments were wrong, and Karl proves that.

No. It seems to me that the uniparty wets their panties at the thought of President Trump using it to call him out. Swamp needs like Rove want to disarm him.

“Karl Rove wrote in an opinion piece.”,,,,,,,,,,,,, Yeah, so?

“disregarding fact checking?”......... Really, OK, just what are the real facts? We are exposed to all sorts of facts by the press and anonymous sources, most with questionable references. We are now at a stage where no one believes anything. We are being controlled by run amok propganda.

I hate to agree with rove, but Trump needs to pull it back a little. Instead he needs to do 10 minutes every 3 days on Hannity’s TV show. More often if necessary.

Karl Rove: Trump 'Sabotaging His Own Agenda'

Karl Rove was a Never Trumper and he is really one big clown!

He was W. campaign manager and he barely got W. over the finish line against Al Gore the Bore! W. should have beat the snot out of Al Gore the Bore!

Tell us again what Karl Rove has ever done! He is now a complete joke!!!

He lost his opportunity to work with the Trump administration when he became a Never Trumper in my book! Main reason we need to get rid of Paul Ryan as the Speaker in my book!

I agree 100% that all of these Never Trumpers are a bunch of Rinos and we are sick and tired of Rinos in the Republican party period!

Many years ago we used to think Tokyo Rove was brilliant. A genius! The veil has been lifted, and now he exposes himself as a vile, stupid, arrogant (and evil) piece of excrement.
