This particular article states there were a "trio of robbers." Other articles state there were "3 men, " and another I found stated there were 3 "unknown men." I "FINALLY found an article that has a police statement attached--

"Preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspects are 3 black males, however physical descriptions are limited at this time. "

Why do you have to be freaking Columbo to find this stuff. 3 men. 3 unknown males. A trio of robbers. Geeez. They are trios now. Maybe next time a Quartet of highwaymen.

I didn’t read the whole thing but the first part doesn’t indicate that any demands were made or anything taken, and this is a “robbery?” This is much more in the style of an assassination. There was a reason for this and it was probably not immediate material gain.

This sounds a little fishy to me. Maybe the husband wanted to be rid of her and the expected kid. It wouldn’t be the first time it happened.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at about 1:50 a.m., Beaumont Police responded to 6155 Sienna Trails, in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival Officers located a 19 year old female, who was 7 months pregnant, suffering from gun shot wounds, in the parking lot of the complex. The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where her baby was delivered. Both the mother and child were pronounced deceased. The victim’s mother was also inside the vehicle during the shooting. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspects are 3 black males, however physical descriptions are limited at this time. The investigation is on-going and the victims identities will be released this afternoon. Anyone with information is asked to call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234 or Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at 409-833-TIPS (8477).
