Fashion Paparazzi Love Ivanka's $35 Target Dress
Breitbart ^ | 7 June 2017 | Penny Starr

Posted on 06/07/2017 10:01:04 AM PDT by KC_Lion

What first lady Melania Trump and first daughter Ivanka Trump wear in public seems more important to the press these days than policy issues. This week it’s the news that Ivanka wore a dress that anyone who shops at Target can buy — if there are any in stock once the word gets out.

“For just one day, Ivanka Trump has ditched her designer duds for a more down-to-earth approach," the Huffington Post reported on Monday.

"The 35-year-old special advisor to President Trump stepped out in a $35 dress from Target on Monday (and it’s actually on sale right now for $17.50)," the Huffington Post reported.

"The simple black dress with a ruffled bottom and two lilies is from Victoria Beckham’s line for Target,” The Huffington Post reported. "As of now, the dress is still available on the retailer’s website."

Ivanka would look beautiful wearing a potato sack.

Breitbart has really gone downhill in the past couple months. And they’re losing a lot of followers.

Both the First Lady and First Daughter could wear burlap sacks and they’d still look better and have more elegance than Hillary or Michelle...

Remember all the people on the Left complained about Melania Trump wearing that $135 "off the rack" dress at the Republican National Convention? And then realized that a five-figure haute couture dress couldn't make Michelle Obama look decent?

The Mooch could shop at the same stores as Ivanka for thousand years and never compete. And it ain’t because of looks or skin pigment. It is because of classiness and style. If you have it you can shop almost anywhere and put together a stunning look. If you don’t have it you can shop at the best stores and still look like a hobo.

You know they need to feel safe and welcomed while shopping at Target. Having someone they disagree with politically warring a dress from a place they consider a “safe space” could be racist, sexist and bigoted.

How dare target let a Trump family member into their safe space. /s

I agree she knows what she just did, because daddy didn’t have a message for the whatever the gay month is. She would show him, I think she is a spoiled little snot. Although I applaud President Trump’s rasing of his children, sometimes they get sideways.

1. Her designers are getting flack for dressing her. Going with store bought takes off some of that heat.
2. Target is going far left with trannies in the bathroom, June displays of homosexual pride. Wearing a dress they sell could be a tweak to them politically - hey, hate your politics, love your clothes! Will liberals now boycott Target because Ivanka wore their dress?
3. Takes some of the “oh, aren’t they elitist” heat off by wearing an off the rack dress from a general retailer.

Maybe because I came of age in the 60s and have already seen that look, the dress did nothing for me with its large graphic calla lilies all up the front. Looks like something Twiggy, Beverly Johnson or Jean Shrimpton would have worn in the pages of Seventeen magazine.

Back in the mid-60s, the pop art themes had designers over-literalizing everything. You couldn't buy a cheese board without the word "cheese" printed in big letters on it as a "design element." Just so you'd know it was a cheese board...

You’re complaining about JEAN SHRIMPTON??? What next, calling Julie Christie homely?

The 60s had fabulous fashion. It’s never been as wonderful except for a brief spurt in the 80s.

Yeah but why did it have to be Target?

We were sinking them good after that bathroom bull####.

You said you’re younger so maybe you have a different take on it. That is not meant as an insult.
You’ve just lived in age where this stuff is pushed 24/7
