The first known fossilized skin impressions for Tyrannosaurus rex suggest that this gigantic carnivore, unlike many other dinosaurs, had little to no feathers.
The fossils, reported in the journal Biology Letters, show that T. rex was instead covered with a tough and scaly hide. Fossilized skin impressions for other tyrannosaurs including Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus, and Daspletosaurus reveal that all such dinosaurs lacked feathers, too.

With the current theories that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs, of which T-rex is a member, some people have portrayed T-Rex as a giant chicken full of feathers. Thankfully that appears not to be the case.:)

My own theory was that earth used to have a lower gravity, which allow for bigger creatures to live. Gravity increased, which created the dinosaur to go extinct. Aligned with the electrical universe theory

The first known fossilized skin impressions for Tyrannosaurus rex suggest that this gigantic carnivore, unlike many other dinosaurs, had little to no feathers. The author makes it sound as if all other dino's had feathers, but in the next statement, refutes that.

There seems to be a real determination on the part of some paleontologists to cover every single dinosaur in feathers. The fossil evidence showing that birds have a direct descent from the dinosaurs seems clear enough, but I’m glad to see clear proof that the Tyrannosaurs I used to love reading about and drawing as kid were big, scaly monsters and not really big parakeets.

One of the running jokes in my all male household, is that unlike Deadpool’s tiny hand, T-rex can’t get within “range” and that is why T-rex’s were probably cranky.

Look up the cassowary bird and that is what I think of when I think of bird-like dinosaurs. They are still around and have killed people.

If iguanas are small dinosaurs and indicative of their extinct fore bearers then the big lizards didn’t move around too much.
