:)

arrested the careless woman ..

Careless is not closing the fridge after taking something out.

This seems just a LITTLE beyond careless!

First thing that popped into my mind.

When I was a kid your mom could put you in the car and go shopping for 10 minutes 20 minutes, it was fine.

no one would call the police.

but these days, Busy Bodies will call the cops if they see that, sometimes just for 5 minutes, many times in order to derive the sense they care more than the other person.

that’s probably why she did this.

if they see kids walking home alone, some crazy bored people will call CPS.

it’s completely nuts, these days.

Having been in public places where out of control children are crying, screaming, climbing on or knocking down everything in sight, I kind of understand.

I think parenting is a lost art.

I think I saw that woman in a YouTube Wal-Mart video. Did she weigh about 300 pounds, and was wearing nothing but see-through tights and a crop top?

If your not prepared to take of kids that you produce, don’t get married or open your legs.

Well, she probably figured that she shouldn’t leave them INSIDE the car, where it’s hot, and stuff.

Did she not think that the kids would make noise in the trunk and let someone know they were in there?

I had 4 kids —all a year apart. When they went food shopping with me - (often) - I used 2 carts. Pushed one, pulled one. Never thought much about it. Of course the first stop in the store was to get a box of Animal Crackers to keep them occupied!

Those poor kids. I don’t know which is worse, their mother or the Department of Child Protective Services.

*Puts on Old Lady Hat*

When *I* was a kid, and Mom took us shopping for groceries or whatever, she’d say:

“We are going to this store to get X, Y & Z. YOU are not getting ANYTHING, so don’t even bother to ask. If you ASK, I will drop what I’m doing and we will go home...

...and then I WILL TELL YOUR FATHER why I didn’t come home with X, Y & Z!”

Worked like a charm.

However, it’s a whole different world these days...
