You are paddleboarding next to approximately 15 great white sharks, Deputy Brian Stockbridge announced via a loudspeaker.
Stockbridge was in a helicopter, flying off the coast of Dana Point in Orange County, Calif., at about 2 p.m. local time on Wednesday. And, indeed, swimming in the Pacific Ocean below and clearly visible from the air, were several great white sharks. Their fins rose menacingly from the water as they glided back and forth.

Wait. I didn’t see where WaPo blamed Trump.
Thanks! That made me lol.

Already happening. It was only two years ago that I first saw a local SoCal news piece celebrating the appearance of juvenile Great Whites along the Orange County coast. The enviro types were all excited. Guess they don’t surf.
Some were attributing it to a return of sea lions, some to warming of the mostly cold ocean along our coast.
Whatever the cause we have now had two severe shark attacks. Both women. Sexist sharks.
lolololol
