OREOS! To some, a delightful treat (especially with peanut butter spread on top), to others an entirely overrated cardboard biscuit.
The standard Oreo is good, the Double Stuff ones are better, and the fancy flavoured ones are a bit hit and miss.
When it comes to this particular new flavour, were not entirely sure whether it will be glorious or a crime against snacks. The new Oreo flavour is Fireworks.
Sadly, that does not mean the Oreos explode or light up the sky. Instead, it means the cream bit is filled with popping candy.
Were going to pause here so you can mull that over. Oreos, but with popping candy.
You will either think this is the BEST IDEA EVER or incredibly stupid.
Of course, you wont actually be able to know which option Firework Oreos may be, as theyre currently limited edition and only available in the U.S.
Feel free to recreate the experience by tipping a load of pop rocks on to a Digestive.
Hydrox weren’t even a knockoff of Oreos. They were the original and Oreo was the knockoff.
The company stopped making them some years ago, someone else has brought them back. Don’t know what the product is like these days.
When I was a kid, whenever I went with my stepfather out to the chicken ranch to help out, lunch was *always* Campbell’s chicken noodle soup and Oreo cookies. I do not think that Dad ever ate anything else for lunch.
Oreos always remind me of him.
Years ago I ate something with pop rocks in it but didnt know it. Didnt even know what was. I thought I was having a stroke. Funny now...wasnt funny then
Good ole mom....
Hey Rummy....looks like we had a similar experience with pop rocks. Have a great day.
Same here. Never understood the love for something so tasteless and ordinary.
I will probably never forget that freak out moment over poprocks...lolol
“Oreos are an overpriced cheap cookie.”
I agree. And a really sad thing is all the products that have Oreos in them: ice cream, pies, specialty milk shakes, etc., etc. Yuck!
I am boycotting products made in Mexico.
Not me. Coca-Cola made in Mexico is made with REAL sugar, and we buy it by the case at Costco. Much better than Classic Coke. Made like it used to be.
Good memory
I had completely forgotten about Hydrox.
