OREOS! To some, a delightful treat (especially with peanut butter spread on top), to others an entirely overrated cardboard biscuit.
The standard Oreo is good, the Double Stuff ones are better, and the fancy flavoured ones are a bit hit and miss.
When it comes to this particular new flavour, were not entirely sure whether it will be glorious or a crime against snacks. The new Oreo flavour is Fireworks.
Sadly, that does not mean the Oreos explode or light up the sky. Instead, it means the cream bit is filled with popping candy.
Were going to pause here so you can mull that over. Oreos, but with popping candy.
You will either think this is the BEST IDEA EVER or incredibly stupid.
Of course, you wont actually be able to know which option Firework Oreos may be, as theyre currently limited edition and only available in the U.S.
Feel free to recreate the experience by tipping a load of pop rocks on to a Digestive.
I guess peanut butter on Oreos is a Brit thing, like a potato and butter sandwich. I prefer mine with a glass of cold milk. I’ll have to see if these are in Tokyo yet, but I don’t think I want pop rocks in my Oreos, so probably won’t buy them. I’ve actually got a back of Oreos in my bag right now. Time to get some milk after I finish lunch.
Oh, only available in U.S.A. according to the article. I’m safe.
my grandma used to eat AIDS diet candy. I used to eat an entire box. I ate the AIDS
Yes, the disease did kill the product.
oh noes- mikey is gonna die again
Well, it’s a good thing that I’ve always hated Oreos then.
Ohhhhhhhh......kay
Hencho Mehico.
My Mom did too. She also ate Metrecal Iced Cream, another diet food. The Metrecal Chocolate was extremely bright brown in color.
Low Cal food back then was no where close to the real thing.
It still isn’t.
Oreos never stood a chance when compared with my Mom’s oatmeal cookies. My wife was shown the recipe and does just as well. With a glass of milk, perfect!!
My mom made some good oatmeal cookies too, but the only problem with oatmeal cookies is that you can only eat so much oatmeal before you feel like a horse. Maybe we need to invent potato chip & popcorn cookies so we’ll never get tired of them and can eat as much as possible.
Ha! First thingnI thought about was Mikey.
At work we on occasion have what we call Cheap Cookie Day when each in turn will bring in a couple packages of cheap knock off brand cookies to share at the lunch/break table.
Pretty much every knock off brand of cheap cookies are just as good as Nabisco Oreo cookies.
Oreos are an overpriced cheap cookie.
After shuttering their U.S.A. manufacturing plants and moving them to Mexico, I wouldn’t care if Oreo made Buffalo Trace Bourbon filled cookies.
They can kiss my rear end.
How very queer.
