On Thursday night, President Trump welcomed Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnball to New York City.
Melania and POTUS hosted Turnball and his wife at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in Manhattan. Though it was an event-filled night, packed with attendees like former mayor Rudy Giuliani and John Travolta, it was Melania who stole the show.
FLOTUS veered from her traditional blue and black attire, instead opting for a yellow gown. The one-shoulder silk Dior silhouette was a gorgeous go-to for the spring event. Vogue compares the gown to her Inaugural ball dress -- both graceful off-the-shoulder gowns with a similar flow.....

Jackie Kennedy is always brought up as the yardstick by which to measure all First Ladies, but IMO she is rather over-rated. Jackie had a definite grace and charm, though the latter sometimes appeared forced, probably due to her patrician up-bringing. Though from another era, Jackie could never have cometed with the likes of Carla Bruni or Queen Letizia.
Melania, on the other hand, has an otherworldly beauty and a charm that comes across as natural, even at times humble. Not only can she compete, she does the aforementioned two even better. Melania is now the world’s new yardstick.
But no one will “dress her.” Right?
Oh, other than Ralph Lauren, Valentino, Dior, Herrara, Lagerfield, etc. The TRUE talent in the fashion world.

Similar words were said it about Kid Rock’s wife, Ted Nugent’s wife and Sarah Palin for their evening attire at the White House dinner with the Trumps.
My comment: Melania Trump is stunning in that dress! In other times Melania would be the goddess of the empire. They would have named a day of worship for her. Girls would have been named after her and shrines would be found in windows and gardens with her image. Good night! Jackie Kennedy wouldn’t hold a candle to her.
Melania is now the world’s measure of grace, beauty and style.
