So after a 17-hour delay??, the family is not happy that the phone was slapped from their son’s hands/maybe son slapped, and they are snowflakes? Frankly, I am glad they are standing up and saying this is not the way to treat customers, let alone minors.

Do you work for airlines (you state these are the very customers you hate dealing with)?

Then quit your job, and let someone who knows how to handle the public take your place.

I’ve worked in retail, and always managed to calm down irate customers. It’s a simple matter of putting yourself in their shoes and treating them with respect.

If you can’t do that, go get a job digging ditches.

I’m beginning to think being a flight attendant is almost as bad an experience as being a teacher. Highly stressful, cramped space, irritable occupants and way too many snowflakes and bullies and general pita.

I can only promise that I could never be either, for long. We’re talking hours, max.
