Apparently, even kids arent safe from the wrath of airline agents.
A 12-year-old boy waiting to board a Delta flight from La Guardia Airport to Florida with his family had the cell phone smacked out of his hands by an airline employee who didnt want him filming her excuses to weary passengers after a 17-hour delay, according to a suit filed in Rockland County.
She just came over and hit me, the Suffern High School honor roll student told The Post Tuesday.
My phone went flying, Boggan said. I was in shock.
The Delta agent also yelled that it was illegal for him the film the scene, the suit says.

We suck.
I've never heard of such a thing being illegal in an airport. The Delta agent is FOS, right?
I’m beginning to think being a flight attendant is almost as bad an experience as being a teacher. Highly stressful, cramped space, irritable occupants and way too many snowflakes and bullies and general pita.
I can only promise that I could never be either, for long. We’re talking hours, max.
No you don’t
I think I qualify around here as true butternut southerner die hard
I love New York
The working class folks are great....
Manhattan resident 1980s
My kids love it too....it’s definitely more ethnic now but it’s also safer for now anyhow
I can usually chat up the hardest core Manhattanite girl....even dykes
Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge I’m right at home with my Italians
They just talk funny
Seems my comment upset a few folks. I agree with you
Notice I never said I thought that what the Delta employee did was acceptable in any way.
I happen to enjoy working with most people. I am the govto for angry customers mainly because I listen to them and find a solution. Doesn’t mean that their attitudes and entitled view point make me think well of them.
Since you don’t know me you made assumptions.
What a ridiculous leap.
Not according to your own video, Matthew.
There's not need to exaggerate.
Thank you. Focusing on the minors and not the majors.
The media is playing a tune and some of us love to dance.
There are idiots everywhere....so let the media next month focus on bad actors in the fast food industry. In the autumn, let them point out bad hotel service....and here we will have confessed conservatives screaming for government action.
Meanwhile, real issues are shoved aside.
As Casey Kasem would say, “Ponderous, man....”
Twelve years old and on the high school honor roll?
Sounds like they think they have a monopoly.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It might be that we’re starting to see some of the end product of the various hog pile of idiot legislation that’s been pumped out over the last few decades telling businesses who they can and can’t hire/fire.
Much of that legislation has been all about forcing the inclusion and protection of incompetents, idiots and the unstable.
what is your problem?
Seems all NYC news sources are full of BS.
How can a 12-y/o, 6-7 grader be an honor roll student in a Sr. high school?
I had a flight a couple weeks ago that was 1 1/2 hours late due to one missing FA. Seems Delta couldn’t scrounge one up any faster.......in Atlanta.....their world headquarters.
If true, then at the very least it’s assault. Especially given the age of the vic. The agent should still be up on charges. And I hope those parents take that bloody airline to the cleaners.
Q for Delta’s shareholders: Seen enough yet...?
It is violent or up for charges only if the employee made contact with the boy’s skin or phone. There is no evidence of that. If all she did is gesture with her hand by moving her hand towards the boy, with palm facing him, as shown in the video, and the boy reflexively fumbles the phone, aiming it downwards, still hanging one to it, then there is no wrong doing.
If that area is in fact a no picture taking zone, and the employee was acting in accordance with airline, airport or federal policy, and did not make contact with the boy, then there is definitely no wrong doing on behalf of the employee.
I suspect the boy and father are PO’d cause of the delay, couple that with being attention whores and the media frenzy over recent United event, that this is all just plain BS.
Our society is over sensitive.
Whatever Nifster’s selling, I wouldn’t want to buy...
You probably already have
Folks making assumptions don’t always know the truth
Well, I do agree to the principle of “The customer is always right”, I don’t think anyone should have to kiss anyone’s butt to make a buck. On the other hand, YOU said your customers were jerks.
My reply was on that statement—I wouldn’t want to be a customer of someone who had disdain for me.
I said some customers are jerks. Since you have worked retail you know that is true
