Film director Ridley Scott has revealed he is convinced that aliens are really out there - and one day they will come for us.
The veteran filmmaker is preparing to release the sixth film in the Alien sci-fi horror series, Alien: Covenant, next month.
He said: "I believe in superior beings. I think it is certainly likely.
"An expert I was talking to at NASA said to me 'have you ever looked in the sky at night? You mean to tell me we are it?' That's ridiculous.
"The experts have now put a number on it having assessed what is out there. They say that there are between 100 and 200 entities that could be having a similar evolution to us right now.
"So when you see a big thing in the sky, run for it. Because they are a lot smarter than we are, and if you are stupid enough to challenge them you will be taken out in three seconds."

There is certainly other intelligent life out there.
I say they might already be on their way.
They could have spotted us a thousand years ago, their planet could be 20k LY away. Their fleet travelling at 10% the speed of light.
The answer to the fermi paradox is the dark forest theory.
Maybe next year we will get “Aliens vs. Guardians of the Galaxy.”
They won't come for us. They're just going to give an announcement that an inter-galactic highway is coming through and we're in the way. Pesky humans think it's all about them.
What if we are the highest intelligence?
If so, then we are so screwed.
Sorry, but no intelligent “aliens” are out there coming to get us. We can’t even find evidence of life off the Earth in our Solar system and it’s supposed to be hospitable to life. You ruined the Alien series after the second movie. The last one sucked with the unrealistic looking alien muscle dudes that played flutes. Ugh.
“TO SERVE MAN” just popped into my mind.
It seems so many movies are about benevolent aliens chowing down or replacing us.
So says atheist Ridley Scott. He believes in "superior beings" as long as they come out of his own imagination.
Ridley Scott: director of "Kingdom of Heaven" - the Crusades as told by Al Queda.
OH WAIT! YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT OUTER SPACE ALIENS! My mistake.
What if we are the highest intelligence?
We’re doomed.
“An expert I was talking to at NASA said to me ‘have you ever looked in the sky at night? You mean to tell me we are it?’ That’s ridiculous.”
No, actually it’s not ridiculous. There’s no actual evidence of sentient life on other planets. None.
I seriously doubt that there are other souls out there and in the event that there are.....they are a VERY long was away....who cares.
And this is supposed to be an "expert" opinion? Based upon everything known (actually known, not just speculated about), this opinion is based upon unproven assumptions, rendering the opposite speculation anything but ridiculous. Might it not be possible that the entire physical universe exists on such a massive scale just to make the point to man that although he is very, very small, what he does in his very short life on earth is very, very important. Which it kind of is, if you believe in the Incarnation, among other things! Would one expect God to become man on anything but the most vast imaginable stage? IDK, maybe there are aliens out there somewhere, but I do not think it is ridiculous to make the guess that there are not.
I forgot that dork was in the movie...
Everyone thinks insects are just bugs but some
are from another galaxy.
They survive the rigors of space and then gently float
down to the surface where they hatch their evil plots.
If you have ever spent any time listening to what they
say, you’d know what I’m talking about!
Thank god for Fungi.
Claviseps Purpuria is the food of the gods.
Drink the Kykeon, become epoptes!
Drumbas, mighty landslide Mushrooms!!!
The little mushroom comes of itself.
We know not where or when.
Drink the golden Soma...
Bring the little green guys on! I have my ‘Bad Ass Bear Battalion’ ready to go for defense! (Aliens can’t hang with my Bear pals!)
They are hiding in plain sight!
What’s involved in weaponizing wild hogs along the border? Drop scent lures into appropriate areas, and supplement feed just enough to keep them in their patrol zone? Pigs with steroid boosted aggression?
Might need that wall to keep the pork menace trapped on the southern side?
