The ultimate irony is that CA is not broke. The state is wallerin’ in money.
The problem is they SPEND every dime as soon as it comes in the door.
Whereas my understanding is that Texas is nearly broke, because their citizens get to keep THEIR money.

Perry’s accomplishment was pretty close to the story, but the pistol was his own, a Ruger LCP in .380 ACP. Ruger issued a “coyote special” version to commemorate the event.
