A new prediction says 2017 and 2018 will see major Lyme disease outbreaks in new areas.
This could lead to lifelong health consequences, so where's the vaccine?
Thanks to a changing climate it could be one of the worst on record: the ticks that carry the disease have been found in places where it has never before been a problem
and where most people dont know how to respond.
The danger zone isnt confined to the US: similar signs are flagging potential outbreaks in Europe. Polish researchers predict a major outbreak there in 2018.
In theory, Ostfelds early warning system gives public health officials a two-year window to prepare.
In many other cases, this would be enough time to roll out a vaccination programme.
But there is no human vaccine for Lyme disease. Why not?
And what can you do to protect yourself in the meantime?

you can’t blame them after having seen what true epidemics can do- people are naturally afraid of things they can’t control because they don’t understand how to-
Faggots and blacks live in cities with few tics or lyme. It’s a rural white man’s disease for the most part, so no vaccine is needed.
there are several pretty bad things you can get from ticks- lyme is the most well known of the bunch
I believe that we already have a solution for insects carrying diseases - DDT
Lyme disease is set to explode and we still dont have a vaccine

Sounds a lot like MS doesn’t it....and they have no clue what causes that.
There, fixed it.
“Bambi is the enemy.”
Yep, that is the key to solving it. Once we let the deer population explode in the Northeast, millions of people got infected (or will get infected).
Obviously the solution is easy - take down the deer.
Things transmitted by parasites can be tough to vaccinate against. That direct introduction to the blood stream makes them come in strong. Also 300,000 people ain’t actually that much in a land of 320 million.
so wait...is the sky falling or not ?
PFL
The sky is not falling, but this is a real problem for people that work or play outdoors.
Lyme is relatively easy to treat if caught fairly early - often it does give a distinctive bulls-eye rash as an additional clue.

Good luck finding that bulls-eye if it’s under your hair or on your backside. I sure never found one.
Thanks to that statement everything in this article is now in doubt.
