According to Dan Scavino, White House Director of Social Media, President Trump has now switched from some random unsecured Android phone (possibly a Samsung Galaxy model) to a real Apple iPhone.
Apple iPhones are more secure than Android phones. In fact, earlier this month, it was reported that 36 widely-used Android devices shipped with malware preinstalled. Numerous Samsung Galaxy phones populate that list of malware-infested iPhone knockoffs.
Now, though, the U.S. President’s smartphone offers security and privacy because it’s a real Apple iPhone, not a knockoff wannabe. It’s also from an American company, as opposed to one based in South Korea.
MacDailyNews Take: If it isn’t an iPhone, it isn’t an iPhone.
Anyone who values their security and privacy would be foolish to use any device that fails to sport the Apple logo. MacDailyNews, March 22, 2016
Uh... ok... yeah.
You think the NSA/CIA simply gave up after then? Would you like to buy a nice, slightly used bridge?
Where's the documentation? The Wikileaks has documentation for exploits through 2015 for the Mac, but nothing since 2008 for the iPhone.
Where's the documentation that shows that the NSA/CIA decided for some strange reason to give up on hacking iPhones after 2008?
I assume they are hacking the, but not wholesale. . . or uniquely. . . as you and the other frothing at the mouth Apple Hate Brigade members seem to be claiming.
I don’t hate Apple, I just don’t believe they have achieved perfection. Don’t be such a drama queen about it.
Why would the Feds work so hard to find SOMEONE to crack that iPhone out in California (and others) - offering huge incentives and much more (plus suing Apple) to gain access if they already have that back door?
Somebody needs to throw the foil in the recycle bin and come back down to earth.
Samsung’s last update ruined my battery life. Since I’m disinclined to do a factory data reset, nothing else has worked, I’m looking at a dang iPhone.
I only react to what you write. And every time you enter an Apple thread it's to bash Apple. . . usually with little to no evidence.
That can happen with iPhone updates, too. But they usually fix it quickly. It is never a problem with all iPhones, usually it's a problem with a subset of iPhones that have some particular app or combination of apps installed that just happened to not get tried in beta testing. That may be what happened with your Samsung. Check out the iPhone SE for one that isn't quite as expensive as the top of the line.
