For me, “Inception” comes to mind.

Especially when you find out the Mother ship uses a Mac as its main saucer-system. Remember the Mac error from the virus?

Joe was one of my all time favorite endings. I thought the ending to Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry was good too - unlike the rest of the movie.

After the end of The Sopranos, its fans were saying not only “WTF” but many other expletives, too numerous to elucidate.

Amazing that alien ships have intel and windows on their computers.Dave Barry explained that one years ago. Like everyone else in the galaxy, they had to run Windows, and they came to Earth to kill Bill Gates.

What? You didn't see the entertainment value of Peter Fonda mugging for the camera and grunting for two hours.
To: EveningStar
None of them bothered me. I didn’t watch any.

I thought the ending of "Titanic" was awful. You sit through that whole thing, and they can't save all those people on the ship?
Oh, wait a minute ... the sinking of the "Titanic" really happened?

The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), where Klaatu announces to the assembled scientists that the nations of Earth must learn to be peaceable, or else a peaceable interplanetary organization will kill every living creature on Earth and destroy the planet.

Yea, then ending of those first two sucked. Can’t remember Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. And when ET came back to life after being dead for no apparent reason sucked. A better ending would have ET going into a sort of hibernation and he fellow aliens retrieving him in front of the humans who were suddenly paralyzed and unable to do anything but watch.

Lol.
Do we agree that Breaking Bad was the best ending of a multi season series of all time?

Yeah, the short story ended in a way where there was hope. The movie? Oh, hell no.

I think they left that one open ended on purpose so they could pick it back up after the actors realized they could never have that kind of success in anything else. Then Gandolfini went and died and killed all hope.

The only part that was pretty funny was the pickup at the beginning of the movie that had a bumper sticker that said, “would the last one leaving Seattle please turn out the lights?”
I lived in Seattle during those really bad days for Boeing. Its funny within the context of 2017, Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, etc.
