I was in an Italian food store last Columbus day. You wouldn’t have known it was Columbus day. The shop owner had obviously been bullied into political correctness. No Columbus Day sale; nothing.
There WAS a 280+ pound somalian moslem in there with her daughter who spoke ZERO English. She pointed and grunted to the staff who were bending over backwards to wait on her. She expected me to hold the door open for her with her overflowing cart, her EBT card as she climbed into her brand new SUV. I almost threw up in my mouth.

More winning! Think of the money saved by not having all the riff-raff and crime associated with this street brawl.

Did you ever serve in the military?-——the French were our helpers in the American Revolution at Yorktown and other -places-—the French Underground did much to assist prior to Normandy——you smart mouths who like to make cracks about the French military know nothing at all——ever hear of the French Foreign Legion?——a crack outfit and highly respected——cheers

It’s about time they start taking our country’s rule of law seriously.

Yorktown was before the French Revolution.
It killed off their best.
French Foreign Legion has been comprised of non French for years.

Cancellation, WONDERFUL! Such a celebration has no business in The United States.

I hope I don’t tire of all this winning.

Well that is enlightening... I wonder if Earth Day’s occurrence is a coincidence, because I’m certain Cinco De Mayo must be.

I posted this on another thread and I think it bears repeating.
The ulterior motive is gin up anti-Trump sentiment by making the people "feel the pain".
They could still have the parade and recommend that illegal immigrants not attend but that would not fit the political goals of these anti-American ethnic front groups. Just like the litigation against Trump's terrorist vetting plan, this is yet another reminder that the left will do anything and sacrifice anyone for political power.

What’s funny about 5 de Mayo is that 90% of Mexicans couldn’t even tell you what the darn holiday is about.
Much like about 80% of Americans couldn’t define the celebration behind the 4th of July.
To: tumblindice
I’ve never made that face in my life.
You have to practice for years to look that stupid.
Which begs the question... why?

Total horseshit.
Mexicans don’t celebrate Cinco de Mayor.
It was likely cancelled because funding get fell short.

If I remember correctly, 17 Sep (El Grito) is the true Mexican Indepenence Day).
