Typical update. Fix one thing and break 5 others.

I turned auto-updates OFF in Windows 7 ages ago.

Still, occasionally, my desktop acts strange. I try a System Restore before resorting to an image restore.

Invariably, I notice that my computer received a critical update. [Note that Windows Update is still turned OFF.]

I run a System Restore at a date prior to the critical update and it seems to correct the problem.

I just did a "check for updates." There's been nothing new for several weeks. What is the KB number of the offending update?
