Interesting watching history unfold vs reading concise & engaging stories about it.
Having lived thru times of many scandals that really went nowhere, I’m quite intrigued at the notion of whether Barack et al can/will actually be prosecuted - vs the mundanity of seeing so much happen without consequence.

Personally I am glad for the Wikileaks Vault 7 release, it exposes the depth the c i a has gone to spy on us. This could affect anyone in ways not yet realized! Think about the implications if the powerful want to eliminate opposition. So yes I am in favor, c i a are rogue!

I can’t stand Hewitt going back a long way when he was still a local talker in Los Angeles. He was always a shill for the establishment Republican Party and never helped conservatives even while the CAGOP was destroying itself with fights between his moderate establishment type and more populist/conservative types such as those who follow Trump. Hewitt was a closet Never Trumper last year and never told his audience the truth about his real stance.

We currently have 17 intelligence agencies.
That’s altogether too many; and they they have too much autonomy.
Truman disbanded the OSS because he thought it was getting out of control.
It was replaced by the CIA.
We really only need 2 agencies or 1 agency with 2 divisions.
USA internal and USA external.
With 17 agencies, there are too many turf wars and not enough real productive work. And they should report to the Pentagon and POTUS only.

As Monica Crowley said, this is a war. Hugh Hewitt simply confirmed which side he is on.

that leak that information to WikiLeaks is as big of a traitor to our country as the Rosenbergs's are

Not even in the same category.

The CIA should immediatly be eliminated and replaced with a new cadre of proven loyal patriots with military service. Then do the same with the FBI.

My thoughts are that there are many traitors in the CIA, but they do NOT include the person(s) that released this information. Our government has gotten too big for its britches, and it’s time to expose and deflate it.

Remember, THEY work for US!

Listened to Hewitt because you’d been listening to Back and Medved....? IMHO, those 3 are peas in a pod.

My thoughts are that you shouldn’t be listening to Hewitt, Beck or Medved. They are not on our side.

The CIA has some agenda besides protecting the US, and have for a long time. Funny how the brilliant people at the CIA the NSA & the FBI always seem to miss terror planning, but show up after things blow up. What exactly is the purpose of their spying? I would also add our allies who don’t seem to help us either. No one knew 9-11 was going to happen? Israel, UK, Germany?

I am conflicted.

It is the job of the intelligence community to keep America safe and the Wikileaks release will make them less effective.

The reason I am conflicted, there are elements in the intelligence community which are currently attempting a stealth coupe. The release makes that group weaker and the chances that the coupe will succeed will be less, which is good.

Mixed bag but over all, I think the release is a net negative for our country.

In today’s world we need whistle blowers more than ever. To me there is a confusion of terms here.

The CIA, FBI and/or Justice Department along with some of our congress and media were and are leaking classified information with the express purpose of damaging our Presidency and our country.

Whistle blowers are forwarding information to WikiLeaks in an effort to inform the public of just how out of control these agencies are.

I don’t see how any of the information released by WikiLeaks is damaging to the US unless you feel it is necessary to maintain the status quo.

Our intelligence communities have evolved from gathering intelligence to protect this country to the gathering of intelligence to serve politicians and to rule this country.

I agree with him.

None of the news in this leak should be a surprise to anyone paying attention.

The only thing new to me was that they could spoof Russian “fingerprints” on the their attacks.
