They screwed us and I am ANGRY!!!!!
The Republicans gave us 123 pages of changes to a 12,000 page healthcare atrocity forced on us by Obama and the Democrats.
Call your Representative and Senator and demand they go back and start from scratch.
If they give us this, then the Republicans will own it with the Democrats.
KILL OBAMACARE and start from scratch!!!!
Reps. Gohmert & Meadows say it needs work and I agree. Pres Trump needs to weigh in with some workable ideas to make it better.
But it has to be some things they can do under budget reconciliation requiring 51 senate votes to pass it or else it will get filibustered by Dems in the Senate. Good luck to them
i’m not generally a fan of vanities, but thanks brother FReeper for this one. i’m not as fast a reader as you, but i’ve read enough to agree with you.
you know there’s a problem with any so called “repeal” when you basically have to painstakingly review the ACA (plus SS plus IRS, etc) in order to find out what they’re changing and adding in the ACA.
i wish i could get angry too, but i know the gope too well.
Where is the Great Donald in all of this. I remember him saying that Obamacare would be repealed - If you like your doctor You can Keep your GREAT Doctor - It will be Grate - Believe me.
Are we getting the second coming of Obamacare Light?
Repeal the current and re-write it or we are slaves and USA >>> sorry there is nothing to rewrite.
risk pools — all high risk are covered. this is the most difficult to manage and is a big positive .. no babies and halt left on the street. i’m serial.
incentivize individual coverage. this country has a company base health insurrance carry over from socialist wartime crap. this is a big deal it puts a major strain on actuarials at incos. this is what they really don’t want to do.
And why would you want to emphasize this?
I agree, I think I’ll wait to get some auto insurance until after I have an accident.
I’ll remember that. LOL
Paging Rand Paul!
Hannity was a classic today. Levin is on fire in braking all this
Thanks.
I knew where the bodies were to begin with, so all I did was follow the republican blueprint that directed me to the bodies, and sure enough, it’s Obamcare light.
It’s friggin Vampirecare, and if they do not start by burying a steak in it’s heart to kill it permanently first, and then starting from scratch. It will eventually come back to life one Congressional change after another through until it becomes the exact thing Obama created.
That is why the best cure for our healthcare troubles is to just outlaw medical insurance.
Watch the prices drop like a figging rock.
Health insurance should be like car insurance. For catastrophes only. The prices for everything would drop and you’d be able to pay for your own routine care. For an example look at the billing from offices for insurance now. There is the price billed and the price insurance paid. What insurance itself pays is very low. Why can’t those just be the prices and we pay cash? Then if surgery or hospitalization, etc. is required insurance is billed.
That makes more sense than this convoluted mess we have now that no one is happy with.
I agree
Thanks!
It’s terrible. I am pissed off also.
I do not understand why you would catch flak for your opinion. It is precisely the opinion that most Freepers should have considering all we have been working on and fighting for for years.
FIXING OBAMACARE “JUST ENOUGH” so GruberCare will NOT FAIL like we were waiting for since the RINO’s did not “get it done” previously WILL INDEED make that illegal and stupid centralized fascist medicine a permanent fixture.
Just Don’t Do It ! We are in a war over this and the ground we give up on something “nice” like this is almost certainly not recoverable. Don’t play into creeping incrementalism.
See this comment hanging all by itself from earlier, and it is long:

There are a lot of reasons to write here, and ONE is that we still get the attention of people from everywhere, including Congress, especially their staff, and including the the President and his staff. (We should still call them also as you advocated.)
WE WANT THEM TO KNOW WE ARE PISSED.
This forum is not the place to calm nervous RINOs in Congress when they do bad things.
We want other Freepers to know that we are pissed also.
It might be a place to give nervous good guys in Congress with the knowledge that we are behind them if they fight this travesty.
No “growing up” is needed. It is OK to be angry about what the RINOs are doing and to spread the news about it, just like you did.
We have been fighting this battle a long time and we demand that our representatives start keeping their promises and ceasing get rid of unconstitutional laws.
EXACTLY. Well stated. In fact under Obamacare and also under this new RinoCare it remains ILLEGAL for you to purchase insurance that does not cover their elitist population based goals. Since when is it American to use the force of government to block people from freely associating with others in order to share caring for each other when they fall ill. But now it is illegal to do that without also paying for their birth control pills and a long list of other things that are not unpredictable illness or injury.

There is only one way to lower prices: a free market economy. No controls as it was when we were children before Medicare and business paying your medical insurance. Americans like myself were taught never to put a hand out to our government. In two generations, this old American way is considered heartless?
just an observation.
haven’t seen it much.
and I always wanted to know where old elephants go to die.
I don’t disagree my FRiend. Sometimes a person needs a hand.
This country doesn’t owe me a damn thing. I owe it everything.
I have taken advantage of the V.A. for my healthcare needs and I thank the U.S. taxpayer every time for it, even though my insurance, through my wife’s employer, for which she pays most of the premium, has to pay the bill. Back in the day, the V.A. was totally funded by US tax dollars and was not means tested.
Things change. We have to play the cards we are dealt til we can change things again.
