Evening all, am running late. With the exception of Candy Matson, a new program to me, we have a lame social justice warrior lineup tonight. Try to enjoy without loser Murray messing it up.

Have I mentioned that I really appreciate your posting these weekly reminders?
Well, I guess that I just did.
Gotta have my weekly fix of Johnny Dollar...

Thanks, but being on a ping list is not necessary - I run across your posts all the time without one...

Hi, Vision! I was almost worried about you. :-) I realized if you “disappeared” from here, we would have no way of getting hold of you. I know I have your address somewhere in my old e-mails, but that doesn’t do much good.
I had a guy disappear on me, and to this day I don’t know what happened to him. Scott Factor, who used to post my columns on his website, http://scottfactor.com/, stopped responding to my e-mails and stopped updating his website after posting one of my columns in April 2014. I still wonder what became of him, wonder if he’s okay, since I only knew him online. It was completely unlike him to just stop responding. His website is still up, but he’s done nothing on it since then.

Hi, Viking! Are the azaleas blooming nicely where you are? We have the “early spring” here, and they’re beautiful.

Hey, what’s the latest with you and yours?
I was down in ATL this weekend. CRAZY CRAZY how cheap the real estate is.

Ha - are you kidding? The hanging strawberry baskets in front of the porch are not only blooming, we've got green strawberries in there! A Dutch tulip under one of the pine trees popped up last week with a big yellow flower that looks like a lawn ornament! We've got bags of potting soils and bulbs we need to get going. More strawberries, tropical ferns, and we're going to try our hand at trash can potatoes this year. One of the peach trees is budding, and it looks like we're going to get our first crop from the new trees this year. Apples, not so sure of - they take a little longer to mature. We've shied away from going ape with too many varieties of fruit. I think we're just going to drop in another couple of apple and peach trees, and leave it at that. Haven't started sowing any veggie flats yet for fear of a rogue frost, but it's on the schedule. Lordy, Lordy, we've got so much we want to do this year because I can finally walk more than fifty feet at a time and we have the financial resources to do it now, thanks to my new job.

Thanks (: I was in ATL with family and the plane touched down at 5:30, didn’t think I needed to have you post the thread.
All good? Had a great time in ATL.

Isn't the real estate market off the hook down here? We picked this house up off a HUD auction - 5 BR, 3 BA brick rancher with four-pillar front porch, formal dining room, eat-in kitchen with a wood stove, sunken living room with a forced-air wood fireplace, in-ground 32'x16' pool, gated courtyard patio, 2 car attached garage, 1.25 semi-wooded acres, for
$75K. Property assessment is only
$140K. This joint would go for at least twice that up there.

We’re good here, except I’ve had a cold all week, which messed up my voice for radio work and made me feel pretty lame for a few days. Today I’m feeling better, although I still have the sinusy crap.
We’re still enjoying the nice springlike conditions. I’m glad you had a good time in Atlanta, and I hope your job is going better. You got in so late; do you have dinner?

I walked through, depending on where it would be up here, a 1m to 2m home that is selling for $310k. Stunning.
