Former President Barack Obama has been named the 2017 winner of the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award.

Ah, so that’s why Obama’s choice is why his is a “profile in courage.”
Obama did a 180 degree turn from his campaign promises on homosexual “marriage” in his second term.
Surely JFK would not have wanted his name and the phrase exemplifying his military bravery and the book about that to be used in this way as kudos to this proven enemy of the U.S. and the free world.
Based on other such head scratching “awards” to Obama, one has to assume that Obama’s handlers solicited this award, too, for Barry, despite his hardly ever showing up for the games.

Actually, it is the “profiles in fromage” award.
Today's generation doesn't even know who JFK was, and certainly don't know his only living kid is named Caroline..so this is just another nonsense award to a fake and a fraud...for that is what he is..and until he unlocks his box of secrets that is what he will always be.
Hoping the current POTUS reveals his secrets before Hussein O. himself gets the chance.

As an important note, Democrats disdain awards as nothings that are given out as whims to friends, because the idea of *earning* an award is as alien to them as their actually doing anything that warrants award.
In other words, when other people receive the Medal of Honor, for example, Democrats sneer at them. Remember that Obama wanted the Pentagon to give medals for things like carrying out drone attacks from the US, and for *not* hurting the enemy.
Because leftists are generally not successful at much of anything, they want to tear down those who are, or at least dilute their awards until they are meaningless. The loathe the competitions they could never win, so try to forbid keeping score in them; and then give valueless “participation” awards to everyone.
The Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Freedom Award, this JFK thing, etc., are now just jokes, like dictators wearing uniforms covered with medals they gave themselves.
I wouldn’t be surprised if his friends gave him an Oscar, an Emmy, a Tony and an Obie, “just because”.
