Just found this, I guess it has been out there for a while. My wife suffers from Meniere's disease so I am praying that this will help.

I’ve had two bouts of this. I did my own positional therapy, which worked, but not instantaneously.

Old news...I solved my vertigo while on vacation 3 years ago with something similar. My Naturapath told me to find it on the internet. I did.

I have a friend who has been suffering from vertigo recently. I plan to share this with her. Thank you!

The claim that this is a “new” discovery is Fake News (IMO).
.
This is essentially the Epley Maneuver. My wife has performed it (EM) on herself, and also helped a friend through it.
It is a known treatment for Meniere’s. But it doesn’t work 100% of the time for everyone.

Meclazine works good, also.

The headline said Colorado doctor and I just knew this was a marijuana breakthrough. Boy was I wrong.

I've been using her method for the last year. It does work. It may take a few sessions depending on how bad you've got it. If I goof off and don't immediately perform the maneuver when I sense my vision sliding around a little bit, nausea sets in and it can take 4 or 5 sessions over the course of 3-5 hours. It is super simple and easy.
The biggest problem I have (besides being a slacker) is determining which ear is causing the problem. Sometimes it's just not clear. I sit on the side of the bed and lie down on my right side and then back over to my left side so that each ear in turn is facing down.
Usually, I can tell which ear because when the ear causing the problem is facing down, my vision will slide a little bit before locking into place. Hard to describe but you will know it when you see it.
Hyperventilate a little bit before you go for the half summersault position. My belly gets in the way of breathing. It's only 30 seconds but it seems longer.
That's it. Just do it til you feel better. She recommends that you wait about 15 minutes between sets to give the otoliths (calcium carbonate particles) time to settle down.
If I remember to do the exercises at least weekly, the problem (for me) never gets to the point of the world visually spinning. I really hate that spinning!

My goal in life is to basically get rid of all dizziness on the planet Earth,
Drive all the progressives into the sea!
