This is essentially the Epley Maneuver. My wife has performed it (EM) on herself, and also helped a friend through it.
It is a known treatment for Meniere’s. But it doesn’t work 100% of the time for everyone.

No, this is nothing like the Eply maneuver. In this your head motions are basically forward and down. The Eply requires you hang your head backwards and down and then sideways. It takes longer as well.
The Half Somersault maneuver has 4 positions and you spend 30 seconds in each. It can be done anywhere and all by yourself.
The Eply requires a bed or table so that you can lie down and hang your head off backwards. All of the videos show someone helping you and holding your head in the correct position.
YouTube has lots of videos on both these methods. I much prefer the Half Somersault as I don't get as dizzy when performing it.
