I remember Ivan spending a lot of time in the old Mid Atlantic area before he went north for good.
He was a great heel, made the faces look like angels.
He teamed for awhile with Nikita Kollof and they were HUGE draws. Especially when they held the tag titles and Nikita held the US title.
Man, everybody was hatin on the russkies!

I remember when the Iron Sheik and Haxksaw Jim Duggan, hated rivals were caught with cocaine and pot while riding together. I thought they were going to AC to a match.
