She actually did jump earlier under more controlled circumstances and they spliced the footage together. So I don’t know if I’d call this a “fake” per se.

Amazing what they can do these days with wires, lighting, and camera tricks.

One of the main reasons portions of the show were pre-recorded was simple; the FAA banned drones over the Super Bowl.
There was no way the production could have used the 300 drones live.

I didn't watch the 1/2 time show.
But we did catch a glimpse. And the glimpse we caught was the jump. INSTANTLY knew that the jump was staged.

Yes, and Daniel Radcliffe didn’t actually fly around on a magic broom during the Quidditch game in the first Harry Potter movie.

Watched it on youtube,
Thought there wasn’t something funny about that cut away from her after she jumped.
Attributed it (incorrectly) to the TV directors not wanting to risk broadcasting a tragic mishap live.

I didn't see the performance when it happened, but I'll cut her slack for doing the outdoor part ahead of time.
Anybody who wants to give her cr@p for that, I double-dog dare them to do the stunt themselves, OR ELSE THEY CAN STFU.
She gave a great show. And I'm not a Lady Gaga fan, just somebody who's done live music performance and I respect her ability and daring.

She actually did it, and as it should have been done, under controlled conditions for safety in stunt work, so NO FOUL!
Additionally she performed exquisitely showing a host of talent and skill in a wholesome program.
Finally she ignored leftist demands for lip service.
Gaga wins hands down.

I liked it when she said hello to her mom and dad just as she displayed her crotch on the piano stool. She certainly isn't my cup of tea, but she gets kudos for not making it political.
I bought my first Audi last May and am still seething about the Audi commercial. I love the car, but it has certainly soured me on the brand.

It was a show. For entertainment purposes.
Some FX is permissible.
I don't want to be as petty as the jackasses on the left, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say "Good Job!".

Gaga did better than Beyoncé but how many wild visuals do we need? As far as the music? Over produced but Gaga has a good voice. Lotta smoke post show
