But wasn’t that a ban on Muslims, since Iraq is predominantly Muslim...?
Can someone tell me why we have never heard of this until now??

as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,
including section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952,
as amended (8 U.S.C. 1182(f)), and section 301 of title 3, United States
Code hereby find that the unrestricted immigrant and nonimmigrant entry
into the United States of persons described in section 1 of this proclamation
would be detrimental to the interests of the United States. I therefore hereby
proclaim that:
Section 1. The entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants,
of the following persons is hereby suspended:
(a) Any alien who meets one or more of the specific criteria for the
imposition of a travel ban provided for in a United Nations Security Council
resolution referenced in Annex A to this proclamation.
(b) Any alien who meets one or more of the specific criteria contained
in an Executive Order referenced in Annex B to this proclamation.

He banned travel from more countries than Iran, if you look at Annex A.
When I think of Bowling Green, KY I think of beautiful rolling hills, the Corvette factory and museum, how peaceful it must be to live a little further away from it all, etc. The last thing I would think of is terrorists setting up shop.
Here’s what I’d like to know: If Obastard found it necessary to stop immigration from Iran for 6 months, what changed after that period of time to make it ‘acceptable’ again? Bet is wasn’t a damn thing.
I think President Trump is doing the right thing. If we temporarily ban immigration for 3 months from countries that we cannot effectively prove as safe to us - tough shit. Get over it. If terrorists can be found in Bowling Green, just think about what’s likely happened in larger cities. It has to stop.
Another fake media cover up of a real event.
Isn’t this funny!
It’s like a pattern or something. Trump or one of his people make a statement containing an “untruth” and before you know it, everyone’s talking about it and setting the record straight!
Almost as though planned. I’d be sarcastic about it but it happens over and over and over, ever since the campaign started.
