Right on!! I’d have done the same thing. Prayers up for this hero.
Sadly, I think this young man made the right choice. I recently saw a video where the ISIS animals burned two Turkish soldiers to a death that was horrible and as painful as they could make it.
Thank you for this post. Thank you for your service. Prayers up for this brave young man.
Prayers.
He is in heaven. God doesn’t send people like this to hell.
I know it.
With just a small bit of military experience he would have realized what is going on over there and I think he would have stayed home
Could not have said it better. TFYS!!!
Relatedly, word is coming from Kurds that the Trump Administration backing them with military assets which never happened in Obama Admin. http://turcopolier.typepad.com/sic_semper_tyrannis/2017/02/wrath-of-euphrates-phase-iii-ttg.html
Good to know some of the British still get it. I salute him
Thank you for your service and your post. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. I certainly understand why he did what he did. To be perfectly frank, I think his family will suffer much less knowing he went quickly and cleanly rather than at the hands of those filthy subhumans.
If you haven’t seen the TV Show “Six” on the History Channel it is pretty good.
Hope he got some.
Rudyard Kipling
The Young British Soldier
If he had been captured alive, he would have been tortured until he revealed all the information they could get from him about the YPG. Then the would have been executed in one of the horrendous ways they are known for.
As it is, he gave up his life to protect the Kurds from ISIS.
Therefore, as Jesus said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
Thus, fulfilling the Great Commandment, he will be in Heaven...........
What a terrifying choice he had to make. Lord have mercy on his poor soul.
I have been told that suicide does not send you to Hell rather you enter judgement having committed the sin of taking a life. We can be sure that our God is pure, merciful, loving and just - so we sinners can only speculate as to how this is judged. Prayers
This individual's suicide was essentially a mercy killing, which is of course not kosher, but considering the duress he was under, and what damage could be done with information extracted from him, he can't be judged. I also pray that this brave man is in God's presence.
