Long live our Liberty!!!
Beautiful photos, HL! Thanks.
I agree, and I am proud that such a beautiful monument expresses what newcomers should expect in our nation.
Along with the statue, is wording that welcomes those who are down-trodden. I respect that too.
Sadly, the monument has been bastardized to blackmail U.S. Citizens into admitting anyone at all, and that is not consistent with Liberty AT ALL.
I could write a volume on this, but one example should suffice.
When certain groups raise hell in a shopping mall, others riot, others contribute to places that are no-go zones in our nation, is Liberty involved?
Sure it is. There is a loss of it.
We need to be careful who we allow to join us. We need to be careful how we handle those already here.
If you want to be one with us peacefully, great. If you don't, don't expect us to accept you in our midst.
Photos of Miss Liberty are always welcome.
Thanks for the post, HL.
