(WJBK) - A sickening case of animal cruelty on Detroit's west side as a dog is mutilated and abandoned.
The pictures are so shocking, one might wonder how a human could be so inhumane.
We want to warn you - the video and pictures may be hard to view - but it's nothing compared to what this poor dog endured...........

Cops better find who did this ASAP - not merely because this person did it to a dog, but such behavior is a very strong indicator of a highly disturbed mind, who will very likely act out on humans before too long.
Most serial killers have been found to be cruel to animals in their early years.

Many Muzz hate dogs and routinely kill them in the most inhumane ways imaginable, so that's a good guess.

I saw a video of a muzzle country can’t remember exactly injecting bunches of dogs with acid and they were writhing in pain and dying in heaps. I hate those bass terds.
I feel like crap for several days if I accidentally step on my dog’s paw (because she’s crowding me - inevitably at the fridge). That yelp of pain rips my heart out. How anyone could do this is utterly beyond me - but the penalty should be many, many years in jail, with no possibility of parole.
Oh, and I agree that the odds are high that this is a Muzzie. It isn’t a certainty, because there are a lot of sick people who aren’t Moslem, but odds are, IMHO, heavily stacked that way. Not that it makes a difference (it sure doesn’t to the poor dog), but it is a topic to discuss if it turns out that way.
There is a special place in Hell reserved for people who this kind of thing.
I am not looking. I have seen some motorcycle accident pictures I wish I hadn’t seen. Somebody has to be really sick to do something like this.

My friend suggested The Religion of Peace because of the area where the pup was found. They hate dogs, I would not be surprised. Still, plenty of sick freaks out there.
I’ve been following this story for about a week or since whenever it came out. The pictures are devastating (especially for a former rott owner who still mists up when she thinks of her late girly-girl)
Animal cruelty — there’s a special place in hell for these creeps.
He's being treated and will be put up for adoption in a couple of weeks after he recovers.
Interesting story tho, the dog is very friendly and well adjusted. Given its age, whoever owned him took very good care of him. So the question is, why was he found wandering on the streets and in the condition he was in. With the news report on TV, they're hoping his original owner may claim him..........

I have 2 Rottie girls and this makes me sick. :( I would adopt him in a heartbeat.
Animals, and people, can adjust to a lot of physical
afflictions. It seems that the original owner lives in
an undesirable area. - Our girl, Dub, is ten years old,
and I cannot fathom ANYONE being cruel to her. We live in
the sticks, far from any major road. She sticks CLOSE TO
HOME & I’m glad. She’s a good guard dog. Skeery barker.
