he story of the four young adults who kidnapped and tortured a disabled man on Facebook live is sweeping the country.
However David Drew Pinsky, best known as Dr Drew, admittedly had a very unusual reaction to the video when he saw it.
In a video on TMZ, he says: 'I had a very strange reaction where I felt bad for the kids perpetrating it, I really felt horrible for them.'
He went on to clarify that he felt terrible for the victim, and said that nothing excuses what they did.
Dr Drew said in the video: 'What's going wrong in those kids' lives that they could think not only that that's funny, but that everybody else would think it was funny and that it would be OK to stream it.

I think society accepting this pattern is what Dr. Drew was referring to with the we failed comment. It is heartbreaking to consider what childhood life could lead to these monsters when taken into context of a five year old.

Folks, Dr. Drew is not a liberal or a bleeding heart.
I’ve had the opportunity to talk with him and he is far more conservative than people might imagine.
He means this as society failing a generation. Growing up under 0 with gangster missing fathers and indifferent welfare mothers helps make this mess we have. We all say the same.

Drove a cab for a while and was in and out of the projects a lot.

Urine, drug needles, condom wrappers and worse in the hallways. Yes, a FEW times I went in to find gals I knew who had gone in to buy drugs.
They would call the cab, go into the projects for drugs and sometimes never come out. They were from the “good” neighborhoods and I knew a few of them.
After the second time, I said “#### this” and just drove off after 15 minutes.

He is the host of the Teen Mom reunion shows. Most of the girls have struggled quite a bit due poor choices in life. In every situation Dr Drew talks about what “triggers” them and other similar nonsense instead of reminding them that they have a child and far more options than other teen moms. If he was my Dad instead of the awesome one God blessed me with, I would probably be a meth addict living in a box.

The victim was 18 and the offenders were three 18 year old males and a 24 year old female. Why are the offenders called “young adults” or “youths” but the victim is “a man”?
Sympathy for the devil? Hmm. I think he’s misguided. What he actually feels “sorry” for is the spiritual condition in the hearts of much of the world these days.
Sorry I commented before reading the whole thing. I guess I understand what he’s trying to say. I couldn’t watch the video because can’t stomach things like this but I know for sure I wouldn’t have felt any sympathy for the perps, only sorry for the state of a society that breeds seemingly unredeemable people like this.
