China orders Apple to remove the New York Times apps from the Chinese Apple App Store due to them being in violation of the Chinese local regulations. The New York Times has requested Apple to reconsider its decision to comply with the Chinese government's order. PING!

I can’t stand the NY Times. Nevertheless, Apple should not bend over to the Communist demands.
Let China ban Apple and it will hurt China.

I bought an i-phone recently. On it was a "Newsstand" app. It had feeds from perhaps 90 media sources. Not a single reliable source among them. There were: The Atlantic, nyt, WaPo, Slate, Salon, HuffPo, etc., etc.
I called and asked them how to put Brietbart on. I had to spell it for the rep; he never heard of it. He said I couldn't add any sources, so I deleted the app.
