A fool and his money are soon parted. And these people have struck me as nothing BUT fools, their latest proof setting up a system just begging for abuse.

Since when does giving folks “free” stuff boost employment or quell poverty? They only need to look at us since we became a welfare state to figure it out....

Why would an endless socialist gravy train “boost employment?”

“in a unique social experiment”

Whats unique about giving away money?

” which is hoped to cut government red tape, reduce poverty and boost employment.”

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

Until they run out of those people who are working to pay this; wonder if they’d bothered to look at Venezuela yet?

And what could go wrong with that Liberal idea?

The unintended consequences are numerous to list.

But, hey, the idea looks wonderful — on paper.

Is that all they’re going to get? Then they’ll have to live differently - and frugally - to get buy. They won’t starve, but they won’t live a life of luxury.

Correction; this is for people on unemployment (the dole) and it’s apparently to be deducted from other “benefits” they get. I haven’t looked into what other “benefits” are on top of everything else.

. “Will this lead them to boldly experiment with different kinds of jobs?” People collecting welfare benefits, food stamps, section 8 housing or the equivalent in Finland
hardly seem the type to boldly experiment in looking for work.

Find me an unemployed Caucasian Finn that is not addicted to drugs or alcohol. May as well ask you to find me a Unicorn.

A Finn of ethnic origin outside of Scandinavia mooching for a living? That’s different...dime a dozen.

In Germany, these new immigrants have an employment rate of 3%, not unemployment rate, but an EMPLOYMENT rate of 3%...
