Clemson wins! Hold that tiger!
No way PSU should have been in the playoffs with two losses.
Hold that tiger? Is that what the Taters call this?
Too bad that Clemson wasn’t playing the Tide today for the championship, because they would be the national champions!
The Tigers made Ohio St. look like a high school team, and it was the first time an Urban Meyers team had been shut out.
Of course, the selection committee should be blamed because OSU didn’t deserve to be in the final four anyway.
As a Miami Dolphins fan, I can only assure you that I sincerely hope so.
We Dolphins fans have a special place in our hearts for Nick Saban, who bailed out as the Dolphins' head coach and took the Alabama job, after vehemently and repeatedly denying that he was taking the Alabama job...
Go Tigers!
great to see Urban get his clock cleaned.
I can see why folks would say OSU didn’t belong in the final four, but after looking through the NCAA football standings this year I don’t see another team that clearly deserved to be there.
I know, couldn’t believe it. Ohio state fan here. Born and raised in Ohio, but live in Michigan.
That team could take on the Minnesota Vikings...
As crocodile Dundee would say, yep, it’s a guy...
They wear orange for gosh sakes
What color are tigers supposed to wear LOL?
Hold That Tiger—Clemson’s rip-roaring version of it is the best college fight song ever.
Well, why don’t you just wander over there on January 7 to see what is happening? :)
The point is that the 2016 college football playoff championship will be played on January 9, 2017. That’s just the way they do it. The 2017 playoff will be held in Frisco on January 7, 2018.
BTW, the left coast (I live in USSR-WA) does not even know what time it is, much less the year! :)
Every season I have to post messages to officials that “Hold That Tiger” is part of a song where we tell other teams just try and do that. It’s not an open invitation to hold our guys without throwing a flag. Some zebras still think it is.
At the time, it was stated as such. They would have been 12 and 1. The other 3 teams were 11 and 1. Alabama lost to LSU. OK State lost to 6 and 7 Iowa State. Stanford might have had a case, losing to 12 and 2 Oregon who had lost to LSU.
