It’s interesting to watch Obama, who has goldbricked for 8 long years, suddenly discover an interest in being president.
He’s always lacked class, manners, civility or any sense of perspective but his frenzied smash-and-grab is as typical as it is appalling as is it futile.
22 days will seem an eternity but for anyone who has moved it will go in an eyeblink. Then there’s the small matter of knowing that someone is moving into your residence the minute you move out and, in reality, the transition takes much longer than that.
The reality is that his presidency is over. It was actually over on Nov 9 but this is tape-up-the-boxes-and-submit-change-of-address-form time dedicated to the mundane act of relocating and the considerable logistics of the inauguration. Instead, this egomaniac is pretending it’s March 2012 and he’s just been reelected.

Our local news showed Obama 3 times before I went to work yesterday. Seeing Obama or hearing his snarky voice is infuriating to me. If they keep doing this after 22 days I’ll inform them that I’m switching to some other channel.

Obama checked out a long time ago. Jan 20 just makes it official. Trump has accomplished more in his transition so far than Obama did in eight years. And I bet Trump can even still kick Obama’s ass in golf, even though Obama has had eight years of practice.
I don’t think I remember such a long time between election of a President coming in and an old one going out as this one...
Even Jimmy Carter didn’t seem to drag on this bad...
