As I get older I attend fewer concerts. I wish they began at 4pm instead of 10pm.
Here's my list:
The Mekons
Wynonna and the Big Noise
Pere Ubu
KT Tunstall
Hiss Golden Messenger
Kris Kristofferson
Valerie June
Dry Branch Fire Squad
Wide Spread Panic Band from Athens, Georgia performing at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Oct. 30th, 2016. Zac Brown Band at the Georgia Theater Oct. 2006 Athens, Ga. New Orleens jazz Band at Red Rocks Colorado Summer 2016.
Love that play.
Didn't know a band referenced Jarry though.
Saw Bad Company (who I’ve always liked) in the late 1980’s and they only played three songs. You want to talk angry crowd...
Iron Maiden
Metallica at the Fonda
Guns N Roses THREE TIMES
Adele (I was strong armed by my GF who wouldn’t have sex if i didn;t go)
et al
and Justin Bieber (just kidding)
TSO a couple of weeks ago.
Liked it.
Not big on live shows. My wife really enjoyed it.
We went to one - Don Williams in Brennan, Ga. He retired shortly after :-( Thinking about going to a Gordon Lightfoot concert in Pensacola in March.
David Gilmour (Rattle that Lock tour... Toronto on April 1, 2016). Just out of sight excellent... even if Gilmour is a leftie.
“Amon Amarth”
I saw them with Immortal right after the Death show the previous month
Paul Rodgers?
Last concert was 2015. Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band. The real BOSS.
Eddy Raven ... Twice.
Salt Bay Chamber Festival (August, Damariscotta, ME)
Not sure but that kind of soured me on concerts. Saw BB King when I was stationed at Ft Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis and I was maybe 10 feet from him. He was adding table sugar to his glass of Coca-Cola.
Paul McCartney
Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band
Jeff Dunham
Bill Gaither and his group of singers
Osmond Brothers
The Lennon Sisters
Hemlock
Dead Earth Politics
Trans Siberian Orchestra
Had to look those guys up. The kanji they use for their name seem to correspond to bald, sudden(ly) and skeleton/bones. Is there a more rational translation that I missed? (relying on computer translators)
Gotsu Totsu Kotsu
We saw America in October. They played at a dinner and entertainment theatre to about 200 people. The two original singers Jerry and Dewey are about as good as ever.
Too expensive and I have an aversion to enabling the bunch of washed up has beens that are making their last “comeback tour” to replenish their hoard that has been pissed away by drugging and stupidity (which includes huge lefty donations).
Seen em twice. Excellent.
